  Horrible horrible horrible. Went and saw Dr. Schulman because the outside of my foot had been bothering me. He told me that I needed to have surgery to shave the bone on the outside of my foot so it would no longer rub my foot and bother me. He also told me I needed to invest in custom pricey shoe inserts and sent me out the door with inserts I could use for now. Just to be sure I went and had another opinion at IU Health with a different podiatrist. I asked for my X-rays that Dr. Shulman's office had taken and I had paid for. I was told there was no way for them to email or send them to me- even though I was told they were my property. After seeing the next doctor and having him tell me he was shocked I was told I needed surgery- the side of my foot had just been bruised and just needed a chance to heal. No surgery needed at all. It has now been a year and I have had no issues with my foot. If I had not gotten another opinion I could have had unnecessary surgery and being only 26 who knows what issues the surgery could have caused down the road. Please do not rely on this doctor-- get another opinion.
